MESH by VT

Your strata approved Mesh. Here's what happens next.

Getting an EV charger in your stall is straightforward. You arrange it, you pay for it, and the system handles the rest automatically. If you are not ready yet, the building still gains a practical path for future charging requests.

EV charging setup in a townhouse garage
Mesh is built for assigned stalls where owners opt in one at a time.
1

Choose your EV charger

Mesh works with common Level 2 EV chargers, without forcing you into a proprietary charging network. Pick what works for your vehicle and budget — your electrician can advise. You'll also need a Mesh Leaf, available through your installer.

2

Your electrician installs the charger and a Mesh Leaf

Hire a licensed electrician, or use one from the installer network. They install your charger and a small Mesh Leaf device in your stall. One visit, typically a few hours.

3

You charge — the system manages load automatically

Your charger works like any other. On busy nights, Mesh may briefly pause or reduce one eligible group while another continues, then rotate turns fairly. Your car will still be ready in the morning.

Your questions, answered

Will Mesh slow down my charging?
Usually no. Mesh only changes charging when the building or one feeder is near its limit, typically late evenings when multiple owners are charging at once. It may pause or reduce one eligible group, then rotate turns fairly. Your car will almost always be fully charged by morning.
Do I pay a monthly fee?
No. There are no monthly fees, no per-charge fees, and no subscription. You pay your normal utility bill for the electricity you use. The hardware cost is a one-time expense.
What if I sell my unit?
The Mesh Leaf stays with the stall and transfers with the unit. The new owner benefits from the charger you installed. You can disclose it as a feature — it adds value.
What if I get a different EV?
Mesh works with common Level 2 chargers and electric vehicles. Changing cars has no effect on the system.
Does this help residents who do not need charging yet?
Yes. A building-approved Mesh layer creates a repeatable path for future requests, improves the resale story for every stall, and avoids one-off charger approvals that become harder to manage over time.
Who do I call if my charger stops working?
For your charger hardware, contact the charger manufacturer. For anything related to the Mesh Leaf or load management, contact VTeng directly at 604-771-5543.
